The Lane Art Center will make the city alive again!
As part of the “Heritage Adaptive Reuse Grant Program” and rebirth of the Sportslane site, this program suggests The Lane Art Centre. It
will unite creatives from different areas of Perth. It will also allow new creatives to learn and experiment with art in many formats.
Green areas and strong contact with nature were created to make it more personal and attractive to people who are not used to visiting
the City. One of the main points of this project is creating new possibilities for interactions between artists and the general public in the
lane 24h a day.
Two towers with 12 apartments were developed with common areas such as a garden on the top floor, a kitchen and an internal courtyard
that promotes social interaction, a sense of community and quality of life to all residents.
